LunaH-Map Satellite 1:5 Scale Lego Model Set

Specially designed, 1:5 scale model of Arizona State University's trailblazing LunaH-Map (Lunar Polar Hydrogen Mapper) spacecraft made out of Lego® building bricks. LunaH-Map was designed, built and tested on ASU’s Tempe campus, in partnership with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and several other partners supplying space-qualified hardware and services. This low-cost NASA planetary science CubeSet mission is set to map hydrogen enrichments at the Moon's South Pole at low altitude. LunaH-Map will determine the spatial distribution of hydrogen within permanently shadowed regions at unprecedented spatial resolution.

The ASU LunaH-Map Lego® brick models are designed to be a personal gift from ASU Foundation's CEO to give to high-level donors. The ASU Foundation LunaH-Map 1:5 Scale brick model design is intended to mimic that of a popular, commercially-produced, brick model set. This model is fully designed with a custom carton to hold all the elements and a visual brick assembly instruction booklet with "did-you-know" facts highlighting the actual LunaH-Map's mission and specifications. Recipients also receive a collector's miniature spaceman figurine with ASU flag.

This small but mighty spacecraft model is intended to bring awareness to ASU's innovation and involvement in space exploration and to inspire philanthropy to this important sector. When someone build this miniature model, we hope it reminds them of how ASU is looking to the stars and understands that there are no limits to what we can do when we work together.
